Teresa Trowbridge
Teresa Trowbridge has over 30 years of Product Development, Product Marketing and Product Management experience in the Semiconductor and Photovoltaics Industry. She has extensive experience in implementing Program Management strategies to reduce time to market by ensuring clear definition, efficient development and rapid adoption of products. Teresa has created and driven the execution of product development roadmaps for a wide range of products including Semiconductor Manufacturing Equipment, Photovoltaic Manufacturing Equipment and Energy Generation Products.
At Applied Materials, Teresa was a Global Product Marketing Manager for Semiconductor Capital Equipment and translated customer needs into Product Requirements. Early in her career, Teresa worked as a development engineer in PVD, CVD, Implant and RTP both at Applied Materials and in semiconductor factories.
When Applied Materials created a Solar Business Group, Teresa enthusiastically helped to found the team. The SunFab Product generated a tremendous buzz in the industry generated $1 billion in bookings in the first 18 months. After leaving Applied, Teresa spent two years as Director of Product Management and Reliability at Skyline Solar defining product features, options, and product roadmap while ensuring reliability compliance for a high-yield concentrating solar PV product. At Alta Devices, Teresa worked with a German partner to drive a team to co-design and build a complex, high-throughput MOCVD GaAs system. At Alphabet Energy, Teresa established manufacturing operations for a startup device that converted waste heat to electricity.
In 2023, with a passion for reducing dependence on fossil fuels, Teresa completed a Certificate Program in Sustainable Business Practices from UC San Diego. Teresa has a M.S. in Materials Science from Stanford University, and a B.S. in Engineering Physics from UC Berkeley.
